  Q: How do you remove and install the timing chain and timing chain tensioner on Nissan 240sx?

  A: To change the timing chain in engines with a multitude of applications, make sure that the No. 1 piston is at top dead center (TDC) on compression stroke. If applicable, remove the front cover, camshaft cover, and fuel pump. When number one piston is at TDC, branding should be done on both timing marks of camshaft sprocket and chain as well as crankshaft sprocket and chain.
