  A: There is a CKP sensor on the lower left front edge of the transmission bell housing. Begin by lifting the front of the vehicle and putting it firmly on jackstands. Secondly, unplug the electrical connector on the CKP sensor by pushing down release tab. Fourthly, unscrew the CKP sensor's mounting bolt and remove it from the transmission bell house. Lastly, one must take much caution if he or she has plans to use another CKP sensor in place of a damaged one.
