How do you remove and install the instrument cluster on Nissan 350Z?

On G35 Coupes and 350Z models, roll down the windows and disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. For G35 sedans and coupes, remove the steering column covers and the knee bolster, then take off the instrument cluster trim bezel by removing two screws and four bolts, working the bezel loose, detaching the trim ring from the ignition key lock cylinder, and lifting off the cluster and trim as a single assembly. Disconnect the electrical connector from the mirror adjustment switch by depressing the release tab and pulling off the connector, then disconnect the electrical connectors from the instrument cluster by depressing the release tabs and pulling off the connectors. Remove the two instrument cluster mounting screws, disengage the two spring clips at the bottom of the cluster, and take the cluster off the trim bezel by removing two screws at the top and loosening the spring clips at the bottom. Installation is the reverse of removal. For 350Z models, remove the knee bolster and steering column covers, then take out the six instrument cluster mounting screws that secure the cluster to the steering column assembly. Remove the instrument cluster from the instrument panel and disconnect the electrical connectors from the backside of the cluster, with installation being the reverse of removal.
