  Q: How to remove and install a Water Pump, Including Timing Chain Tensioner, Mounting Fasteners, and Sealant Application on Nissan 350Z?

  A: Disconnect the negative battery terminal, remove engine cover, splash shield, air filter housing, and radiator hoses. Drain cooling system and engine oil, remove drivebelts, timing chain tensioner, and water pump covers. Relieve fuel pressure, remove Coolant Reservoir, retract tensioner plunger, and remove mounting fasteners. Remove water pump bolts, rotate crankshaft counterclockwise 20 degrees, install two MS bolts. Remove old sealant, compare new and old pump, remove old 0-ring seal, install new ones. Install water pump, tighten bolts, rotate crankshaft clockwise 20 degrees, position tensioner, install bolts. Remove pin, install tensioner and pump covers with RTV sealant. Refill cooling system, run engine, check for leaks. Wait for sealant to cure.
