  A: Before replacing the parking brake cables you should first spin the lug nuts on the rear wheels, jack up the vehicle and then support on jack stands and then remove the rear wheels. Then, it is required to unbolt the lower trim panel that is concealing the parking brake pedal and further it is necessary to unscrew the adjusting nut of the cable at the end of the pedal, having used the pliers for disconnecting cable from the pedal bracket.
