How to remove and install the trunk lid latch assembly on Nissan Altima?

Remove the trunk lid finish cover, then open the trunk and scribe a line around the trunk lid latch assembly for a reference point to aid the installation procedure. Disconnect the electrical connector and the emergency release handle cable, followed by removing the mounting bolts to take out the latch. Installation is the reverse of removal.
