  Q: How to diagnose a malfunction in the starting circuit and Starter Motor of a Nissan Pathfinder?

  A: Check Battery Cable clamps, cables, condition, solenoid wiring and connections, mounting bolts, and S terminal for voltage. If there is no activation, check fusible links, fuses, inhibitor/clutch interlock relay, and circuits. Also check the Park/Neutral position switch, anti-theft alarm circuit and control module, and engine for seizure. If the voltage is available and there is no movement, remove the starter and bench test.
