How to remove and install the wheel, driveaxle, steering knuckle, strut, and associated components on Nissan Rogue?

To remove the wheel, first loosen the lug nuts, raise the vehicle, and support it securely on jackstands before taking off the wheel. Next, remove the driveaxle/hub nut, followed by the brake disc, and then detach the ABS wheel speed sensor from the steering knuckle. Separate the tie-rod end from the steering knuckle, and for 2013 and earlier models or 2014 and later Rogue Select models, remove the strut-to-steering knuckle nuts without taking out the bolts yet; for 2014 and later models (excluding Rogue Select), remove the strut-to-steering knuckle pinch bolt and nut. Then, separate the control arm balljoint from the steering knuckle and detach the driveaxle from the steering knuckle, supporting the end of the driveaxle with wire to prevent overextension of the CV joints. After that, remove the strut-to-knuckle bolts to separate the knuckle from the strut. For installation, lubricate the splines of the driveaxle with multi-purpose grease and guide the knuckle and hub assembly into position, inserting the driveaxle into the hub. For 2013 and earlier models or 2014 and later Rogue Select models, push the knuckle into the strut flange and install the bolts and nuts without tightening them yet; for 2014 and later models (excluding Rogue Select), insert the end of the strut into the top of the knuckle until the pinch bolt can be inserted, again without tightening. Attach the control arm balljoint to the steering knuckle and then attach the tie-rod end to the steering knuckle arm, tightening the tie-rod end nut and strut-to-knuckle nuts to the specified torque. For 2014 and later models (excluding Rogue Select), install a new cotter pin through the tie-rod end ballstud. Place the brake disc on the hub and install the caliper, then install the driveaxle/hub nut and tighten it to the specified torque. Finally, install the wheel and lug nuts, lower the vehicle, and tighten the lug nuts to the specified torque.
