    A: The next step is to remove the rear Brake Discs. The thickness of the lining material of the shoes should be measured. Replace shoes if the lining has worn down to 0.5mm or less. Examine the drum section of disc for scoring, grooves or heat crack damages. If these symptoms are present or drum is worn beyond limits, replace the disc.
