Third, to release the wiper arm, you should twist the cap and take off the nut situated beneath it, and then draw the retaining nut on the wiper arm and mark the position of the wiper arm on the shaft. Locate the retainer of the wiper arms to their shaft and then unlock it so that the wiper arms can be detached. Next, remove cowl cover and, finally, separate the electrical moving connector of the windshield wiper motor from the motor, as well as remove the cowl support bracket. Go further to unwind the mounting bolts and conducting the process of pulling out the wiper drive/motor assembly from the car. Loosen and take out the bolts or nuts holding the wiper motor to the drive assembly and mark the position of the motor spacer to help during reassembly.
