  Q: How to fix the antenna on a Frontler/Xterra and Pathfinder on Nissan Xterra?

  A: To start with the antenna on Frontler/Xterra, start by taking off the antenna mast and bezel. Then take off the right side wind shield wiper arm, cowl grill and inner lender splash shield. Pull out the radio from the dash after disconnecting the antenna cable from the lender. Attach a pull wire to the end then disconnect the cable. Remove some screws for mounting an antenna base while pulling out its base then remove it. Detach a pull wire that is used to pull through body and let the cable go free. Now, attach a new cable to a pull wire and run it into interior of vehicle. Finally, reinstall everything as it was done before removing them. For Pathfinder including removing antenna mast & bezel, inner fender splash shield, and pulling radio out of dash, etc.. Remove cable, remove antenna base mounting screws and pull out cable. Remove pull wire along with pulling through new cable into interior. Reverse removal steps for installation purpose. For power antennas begin by removing mast retaining nut and bezel. Withdraw antenna mast &cable when its unwinding from motor while being lowered. With teeth on facing rear of vehicle insert an anteanae cablae into tube as Motor winds it up into tube.Install mast retaining nut and bezel.To remove antenna motor remove mast retaining nut and bezel,intirior kick panel,and disconnect motor electrical connector&cable from juntion block.Remove inner fender splash shield&pull motor harness&cable through body grommet.Remove motore retianing screw,take out antenamotor wheel well.Reverse removal steps to reinstall motore.
