Remove the rear taillight housing, then take off the bolts securing the tow hitch to the frame and remove the hitch, disconnecting the trailer harness if necessary. Remove the lower bumper fascia reinforcement screws and the rear bumper reinforcement, disconnect the electrical connectors for the license plate lights and sonar sensors if equipped, and remove the screws securing the bumper fascia, taking off the fascia as an assembly while ensuring to unclip the sonar sensor harness and each sensor if needed. Finally, tighten the retaining bolts or screws securely during installation.

For steel types, take off the radiator grille, then remove the lower front valance fasteners and the valance if equipped. Next, remove the lower intake grille fasteners and the intake grille from the bumper, followed by the front bumper side bracket fasteners and the brackets. After that, remove the upper and lower bumper mounting fasteners and the bumper itself, ensuring to tighten the mounting fasteners securely during installation.
