A:
To replace the receiver/drier and evaporator orifice tube, first discharge and recycle the AC system refrigerant. Disconnect the battery, secure the vehicle on jack stands, and remove the splash cover and drivebelt. Disconnect the refrigerant lines and compressor clutch wiring harness, then remove the compressor. Transfer the clutch to the new compressor and add the correct amount of refrigerant oil.
