Not all models have cabin air filters from the factory, but a filter can be installed. Begin by removing the glove box and the lower trim panel from the right side of the dashboard. Next, take off the filter cover; for 2007 and earlier models, the filter is located above the blower motor, while for 2009 and later models, it is found in the HVAC housing and can be removed by sliding it out to the right. Then, slide the cabin air filter from the housing. Installation is the reverse of removal, ensuring to pay attention to any directional arrows printed on the filter.
