For 2013 and earlier Rogue models and 2014 and 2015 Rogue Select models, the cabin air filter is located under the center of the instrument panel, to the right of the accelerator pedal. Begin by removing the left instrument panel lower cover, carefully prying off this trim panel for access. Next, remove the accelerator pedal, then take off the cover from the side of the HVAC housing by unclipping the bottom and swinging it out to unhook the top. Pull the cabin air filter out of the housing, and during installation, ensure the arrow on the filter points to the rear of the vehicle. For 2014 and later Rogue models, the air cabin filter is situated on the passenger's side of the center console. Start by removing the center console front corner trim panel, then take out the filter cover retaining screw, depress the tab on the cover, and remove it. Extract the filter from the housing, noting the direction of the airflow arrow, and install it in reverse order.

Not all models have cabin air filters, which are located under the center of the instrument panel, to the right of the accelerator pedal. To access the cabin air filter, first remove the left instrument panel lower cover by carefully prying off this trim panel. Next, take off the cover from the side of the HVAC housing by unclipping the bottom of the filter cover, swinging it out, and unhooking the top. Then, pull the cabin air filter out of the housing. For installation, reverse the removal process, ensuring that the arrow on the filter is pointing UP when installed.
