Nissan 49200-11G10 Gear Assy-Power Steering

Start by loosening the front wheel lug nuts and raising the front of the vehicle on jackstands. Remove the wheels and the under-vehicle splash shield. Remove the brace from the front crossmember and then remove the pinch bolt on the transfer gear coupler shaft. Detach the tie-rod ends from the steering knuckles and remove the stabilizer bar brackets. Position a drain pan under the steering gear and disconnect the power steering pressure and return lines. Remove the power steering pressure line brackets from the front crossmember and then unscrew the mounting bolts to remove the brackets. Lower the steering gear from the vehicle and then install the new steering gear by following the reverse of the removal steps.
