To replace the rubber brake hoses, follow these steps: Loosen the wheel lug nuts. Raise the vehicle and securely support it on jackstands. Unscrew the brake line fitting from the hose. Remove the U-clip from the female fitting at the frame bracket. Remove the banjo filling bolt from the caliper end of the hose. Remove the fasteners from the hose blocks at the steering knuckle and shock absorber. Detach the hose from these points. Attach the new hose to the steering knuckle and shock absorber. Connect the fitting to the caliper using the banjo bolt and new sealing washers. Push the metal support into the frame bracket and install the U-clip. Reconnect the brake line fitting, start the threads by hand, then tighten it securely. Bleed the caliper. Install the wheel and lug nuts. Lower the vehicle and tighten the lug nuts to the specified torque. Check the master cylinder fluid level and add fluid if needed. Bleed the brake system and carefully test the brakes before driving the vehicle in traffic.
