Nissan 24810-ZK001 Instrument Speedometer Cluster

1. Remove the kick panels at each side (Pull out the kick panels at each side). The panels simply pull out. 2. Remove the left and right trim strips along the interior of each windshield post (Pull back the rubber weatherstripping, then remove the windshield post trim strips (retained by clips)). 3. Disconnect the passenger airbag connector and remove the bolts securing the bottom of the airbag to the instrument panel reinforcement beam (Note: The bolts are "tamper-proof" Torx type and require a special socket to remove or install). 4. Pry up the defroster grilles to access the upper bolts of the instrument panel. 5. Remove all fasteners securing the instrument panel and any electrical connectors still attached to the panel. Pull the panel back and out of the vehicle. 6. Remove the Body Control Module (BCM), marking all the connectors, then remove the mounting nuts. Refer to Chapter 6 and remove the ECM. 7. Remove the two upright supports at the center of the reinforcement beam, removing the bolts at the floorpan and the beam. 8. Lower the steering column from the reinforcement beam. 9. Mark and disconnect all wiring harness clips and connectors attached to the instrument panel reinforcement beam, then remove the bolts and angle the reinforcement beam out of the vehicle. 10. Installation is the reverse of removal.
