To replace the radiator, first remove the engine cover, air intake duct, and air filter housing. Then, raise the front of the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Disconnect the automatic transmission cooler hoses and drain the cooling system. Squeeze the hose clamps and detach the radiator hoses from the radiator. Remove both radiator shrouds and the mounting bolts at the top of the radiator. Remove the small bolts securing the air conditioning condenser to the radiator. Detach the power steering fluid cooler and lift the condenser up and slightly forward to separate it from the radiator. Lift the radiator out, taking care not to damage the fins. Inspect for leaks and damage, and have it repaired if necessary. Clean the radiator with a garden hose before reinstallation. Check the radiator mounts for deterioration and replace if needed. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure. Refill and bleed the cooling system, then check for leaks. Finally, check and adjust the automatic transmission fluid level as needed.
