- A:The water temperature switch on turbo models, controlling the cooling fan, is located on the left cylinder head. To remove, unplug the electrical connector and use the correct socket to unscrew the switch. Installation is the reverse of removal. To test the switch, connect an ohmmeter to the switch wire and ground the other to the switch head.
