    To replace the VSS, follow these steps: 1. Raise the vehicle securely on jackstands. 2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the VSS. 3. Remove the hold-down bolt and clamp. 4. Take out the VSS from the transaxle. 5. Inspect the O-ring on the sensor and replace it if damaged, using a new O-ring if installing a new sensor. 6. Reinstall the VSS by following the reverse order of removal.
