Remove the plastic bag from the transmission or transfer case, and clean the area. Then, slide the front of the driveshaft back into the transmission or transfer case. If you're working on a 1999 or later 2WD Pathfinder, line up the reference match marks, and install and tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
