Remove the instrument cluster panel, then open the hood and disconnect the cable plastic retainers while working from the transmission end of the speedometer cable towards the speedometer head. Inside the vehicle, grasp the cable housing firmly and pull it from the retaining bracket, pulling the cable and housing through the firewall. Installation follows the reverse of the removal procedure.
