To disconnect the radio, the procedure includes the removal of the cable from the negative terminal of the battery, removal of the center instrument panel trim assembly together with the right side center trim panel above the glove box, and the left side trim panel in the 2015 model. After that, unscrew this radio on both sides, disconnect the corresponding electrical connectors, and pull the radio out. To installation, the process is just the reverse of the removal procedure and the battery should be connected with other relevant relearn procedures. For the audio controls on the steering wheel, unclasp the air bag, take out the audio control retaining screws, disconnect the electrical connectors and then remove the controls and finally reverse the whole process. The Bluetooth system makes it possible to establish wireless link between the Bluetooth cellular phone and the Bluetooth controller for hand-free call facility and Nissan Voice Recognition system for enabling personal memos and calls with the pairing detail explained in the user manual for the cellular phone. The Bluetooth system check its self every time the ignition is on, and in diagnostic mode, by the use of audio controls on the steering wheel, the 'ON' indicator in the roof console assembly flashes during initialisation. Regarding the microphone removal, the map light in the overhead console must be detached, the microphone disconnected from the electrical connector and then the microphone has to be removed next, while for the installation the procedure is vice versa.
