How do you remove and install the instrument cluster in Nissan Maxima? Posted by Customer
A:
Disable the airbag system for 2003 and earlier models, then remove the instrument cluster bezel. Next, take out the retaining screws and pull the cluster forward, unplugging the electrical connectors to remove the cluster from the vehicle. For 2004 and later models, start by removing the three trim covers from the top of the instrument cluster, then take out the cluster screws (two at the front and one at the back). Pull the cluster out, disconnect its wiring harnesses, and remove it. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure for both model years.
