To take off the wheel see the following steps, first take out the lug nuts, then lift the car using the jack and finally place the car on the jackstands before finally removing the wheel. Subsequently, you will need to unscrew the driveaxle/hub nut and then take off the brake disc. If equipped, remove the wheel speed sensor from the knuckle by removing the two bolts that surrounds the sensor. Detach the tie-rod end from the steering knuckle, then loose the nuts of the strut-to-steering knuckle, but don't fully undo the bolts. Then, disconnect the lower control arm balljoint from the steering knuckle, and pull of the drive axle and the steering knuckle, placing a wire around the end of drive axle to prevent over extending the CV joints. To get rid of the knuckle from the strut, the strut-to-knuckle bolts are to be unscrewed, moreover, to detach hub from this structure, the hub-to-steering knuckle bolts are to be unscrewed, as well, the brake disc splash shield has to be also removed. For installation, screw the bolts in the hub, knuckle and the splash shield until they are tightened to the right torque. After that apply the multi-purpose grease on the splines of the driveaxle, then placing the knuckle and hub assembly in the right position put the driveaxle through the hub. Insert the knuckle into the strut flange and place the bolts and nuts in; do not tighten them at this point. Screw the control arm ball joint to the steering knuckle, then screw the tie rod end to the steering knuckle arm while tightening the tie rod end nut and tightening strut to knuckle bolts to the recommended torque then fits a new cotter pin through the tie rod ball stud. Position the brake disc onto the hub and ensure it is properly fitted in the previous made alignment marks; fix the caliper. Last of all, ensure that the driveaxle/hub nut is tightly fixed by applying the recommended torque, then mount the wheel with proper lugs and nuts followed by the lowering of the vehicle and correct tightening of the lug nuts to the right torque.
