Loosen the wheel lug nuts, raise the front of the vehicle, support it securely on jackstands, and remove the wheels. Separate the intermediate shaft from the steering gear shaft. Detach the sway bar kit links from the sway bar kit and, if necessary, the struts. Loosen and remove the tie rod end nut from the knuckle, then use a balljoint separator tool to disconnect the tie rod end from the steering knuckle. Remove the torque rod and place a floor jack under the subframe. Loosen the subframe bolts and slowly lower the jack enough to access the sway bar kit rear bracket bolts, taking care not to lower the front suspension member too far to avoid damaging the links. Remove the sway bar kit clamps and bushings, followed by the sway bar kit. Inspect the clamp bushings and the link bushings, replacing any that are cracked or torn. Installation is the reverse of removal, ensuring all suspension and steering fasteners are tightened to the specified torque values, along with the wheel lug nuts.
