Nissan 32006-0W010 Transfer Neutral Position Switch

Place the shift lever in the Neutral position, unplug the electrical connector from the Neutral position switch, and, using an ohmmeter, check for continuity across the terminals of the switch. If not, raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Unplug the Neutral position switch electrical connector, unscrew the switch from the transmission case, apply RTV sealant or Teflon tape to the threads of the new switch to prevent leakage, install the switch in the transmission case and tighten it securely, and plug in the electrical connector.

If the engine starts in any position other than Park or Neutral, it's necessary to check and potentially adjust the Park/Neutral position start switch.
