To replace the IAC valve, disconnect the electrical connector, remove the hose from the IAC valve housing (1993 and 1994 models) or the two attaching screws (1995 and later models), clean the sealing surface and bore of the IAC housing, position a new O-ring on the housing, lubricate it with engine oil, and then install the IAC valve and tighten the screws.
