If replacing the lower insulator, set it into position with the dropped portion seated in the lowest part of the seat, extend the damper rod fully, and install the dust boot. Place the compressed coil spring onto the lower insulator, ensuring the end rests in the lowest part of the insulator. Install the upper insulator and spring seat, ensuring the cutout on the spring seat faces out, in line with the strut-to-knuckle flange opening. Install the bearing onto the spring seat, followed by the dust seal and suspension support to the damper shaft. Finally, install and tighten the nut to the specified torque, carefully release the tension on the spring, and remove the spring compressor before installing the strut coil spring assembly.

Driveaxle boots, especially the outer CV boot, should be inspected because they protect the CV joints from dirt, water, and foreign materials. Inspect the boots for tears, cracks, and loose clamps. If any damage, cracks, or leaking lubricant is found, the boots should be cleaned with soap and water and replaced to maintain the integrity of the CV joints.

Unclip the brake hose from the strut bracket by removing the retaining clip with pliers and detach it from the bracket.

The upper mounting nut should be installed finger tight, followed by the lower mounting nut bolt also installed finger tight.
