To fix a power antenna, you need to start by removing the mast retaining nut and bezel. With the mast lowered, withdraw the antenna mast and cable as it unwinds from the motor. Insert the antenna cable with the teeth facing the rear of the vehicle and feed it into the tube as the motor winds the cable. Install the mast retaining nut and bezel. To remove the antenna motor, remove the mast retaining nut and bezel, interior kick panel, and disconnect the motor electrical connector and cable from the junction block. Remove the inner fender splash shield and pull the motor harness and cable through the body grommet. Remove the motor retaining screws and take out the antenna motor from the wheel well. Reverse the removal steps to reinstall the motor.
