Lift the front of the vehicle and place it on jackstands, then unbolt the wheel and the splash guard. Next, remove the front stabilizer bar, be sure to put the washers and spacers in a place where they will not be forgotten. First unscrew the nuts where the tension rod gets attached to the transverse link, then the cotter pin and nut, which couples the side rod to the steering knuckle, then uncouple the two, and also unbolt the steering knuckle to the strut. If the transverse link connects the crossmember to the inner end, then remove the pivot bolt first and then, take out the transverse link. Clamp the transverse link in a vise and publish this bolt that connects the steering knuckle and balljoint to the transverse link and change the transverse link if the balljoint is worn. In case of the transverse link bushing is worn out, then the whole transverse link is to be changed. Fit the transverse link to the crossmember but do not tighten the pivot bolt; the vehicle should now be back on the ground. After that, fit the nut and cotter pin of side rod to the steering knuckle, fit the steering knuckle to the strut and lastly, fit tension rod to the transverse link. Reinstall the front stabilizer bar, replace the splash shield, reinstall the wheel, remove the jackstands, lower the automobiles and then finally torque the transverse link pivot bolt.

Remove the two retaining through bolts, taking note of the location and sequence of any bushings and washers before taking off the suspension arm.
