Pry rear seal from hub assembly, remove inner wheel bearing and clean out all old grease from bearings, hub, spindle using solvent. Examine races and bearings for damage; replace them as matched sets if necessary. Pack bearings with high temperature front wheel bearing grease; apply grease to the spindle and hub races. Put together again the hub assembly while for 2WD Frontier models follow specific procedures for tightening of spindle nut torque as follows; tighten the locknut to specified torques for 4WD Frontier models plus all Xterras & Pathfinders measuring wheel bearing preload adjust respectively according to need).
