What steps should you follow to replace the coil for the 2006 Nissan 350Z? Posted by Customer
A:
1. Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. 2. Remove the engine cover. 3. If removing an ignition coil from the left cylinder bank, remove the air filter housing and the air intake duct, then detach the engine harness and push it aside as necessary. Also, move aside any hoses routed over the ignition coil. 4. If removing an ignition coil from the right cylinder bank, detach the engine harness and push it aside as necessary. Also, move aside any hoses routed over the ignition coil. 5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the coil. 6. Remove the ignition coil mounting bolt and remove the coil. 7. Installation is the reverse of removal.
