Q:
I noticed on this transmission oil cooler, there appears to be a valve on the side with the inlet and outlet. Is this a thermal bypass valve? And if so, what is the determined temperature range for this valve? What temperature will this valve open to allow fluid to fully flow through the cooler? I'm trying to diagnose a transmission cooling issue. I'm thinking this valve is the issue. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Posted by Customer: 2006 Nissan Pathfinder
