Q:
How to remove and install the concentric release cylinder in this Nissan Sentra? Posted by Customer
A:
Assemble the clutch slave cylinder instead of attempting to disassemble it; always use a new one. Note: The clutch slave cylinder is what this vehicle uses to encompass an input shaft which is inside the transaxle. It can be pulled out only when the engine and transaxle are separated. First, remove the transaxle from the vehicle. Secondly, remove two bolts that secure the clutch slave cylinder on the transaxle bell housing and take away from it. Installation is simply performed in the reverse sequence stated above. Lastly, put brake fluid (DOT 3 grade) into clutch master cylinder and bleed clutch hydraulic system.

Q:
How do you remove and install a concentric release cylinder on Nissan Altima? Posted by Customer
A:
This vehicle uses a concentric clutch slave cylinder that fits around the input shaft of the transaxle and can only be removed after the transaxle has been separated from the engine. Begin by removing the transaxle, then unbolt the clutch slave cylinder from the transaxle bellhousing and take it out. Installation is the reverse of removal. Finally, fill the clutch master cylinder with brake fluid that conforms to DOT 3 specifications and bleed the clutch hydraulic system.
