The sunroof is powered by a single motor located in the roof, with the sunroof switch sending an operation signal to the motor CPU encoder when pressed. To remove the motor assembly, the sunroof should be fully closed, the headliner removed, the motor assembly screws taken out, and the wiring harness disconnected before pulling the motor assembly down. Installation follows the reverse order of removal.
