For headlight alignment, ensure the headlamps are adjusted with a special tool. Position the vehicle on a level surface 25 feet from a flat wall, tape a line at the vehicle's center line, stabilize the suspension by rocking the vehicle, and measure the distance from the headlamp lens to the floor and from the center line to each headlamp for adjustment references.

Disconnect the negative battery cable, and if necessary, remove the Anti-lock brake system electrical connectors for access. Turn the bulb retaining ring counterclockwise to remove it, disconnect the electrical connector, and carefully remove the bulb without shaking it.
