Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery, block the rear wheels, and set the parking brake. Loosen the lug nuts on the right front wheel, raise the vehicle, and support the front securely on jackstands before removing the right-front wheel. Remove the lower splash cover and the right side inner fenderwell splash shield. Take out the drivebelts, then remove the crankshaft position sensor from the front timing cover. Use a strap wrench around the crankshaft pulley to hold it while using a breaker bar and socket to remove the crankshaft pulley center bolt. Wedge a prybar or two screwdrivers behind the crankshaft pulley and carefully pry it off; if it is difficult to remove, use a three jaw type puller around the center hub. Ensure the puller jaws are not placed around the outside of the crankshaft pulley to avoid damage. To install the crankshaft pulley, align the pulley groove with the key on the crankshaft and slide it onto the crankshaft. Install the crankshaft pulley retaining bolt and tighten it to the specified torque, then complete the installation by reversing the removal steps.

Raise the front of the vehicle, remove the right front wheel, and secure the vehicle on jackstands.
