After completing the preliminary steps, proceed with these actions: Drain the cooling system. If equipped, disconnect the automatic transmission cooler lines from the radiator. Loosen the hose clamps and detach the radiator hoses from the radiator. Unbolt the small brackets attaching the top of the radiator to the radiator support. Carefully lift out the radiator with the upper fan shroud attached. Inspect the radiator for leaks and damage. Clean bugs and dirt using a garden hose nozzle from the back side. Check the radiator mounts for deterioration and replace if necessary. Guide the radiator into the mounts until they seat properly.

After reinstalling the radiator, perform these steps: Refill and bleed the cooling system. Start the engine and check for leaks. Allow the engine to reach normal operating temperature. Allow the engine to cool completely. Recheck the coolant level and add more if required. Check and add automatic transmission fluid if needed.
