Q:
How do you properly remove and refit the camshaft position sensor, coolant temperature sensor, crankshaft position sensor, engine control module, fuel injectors, fuel pump, fuel rail, knock sensor, MAP sensor, mass air flow sensor, and spool valve during engine service on Petrol Nissan Juke? Posted by Customer
A:
If it is believed that a particular injector is at fault, it may be wise to attempt a proprietary injector-cleaning treatment before coming to a conclusion. undefined 2 litre engines, to replace the Teflon sealing ring at the base of each injector one needs certain Nissan tools and it is wise to consult Nissan or a well done fuel injection expert. After removing the fuel rail and the fuel pipe, they have to be replaced with new ones. Start by turning off the fuel supply system using the primer switch then disconnect the battery negative terminal. Take off the inlet manifold and seal the intake ducts to avoid entry of any material into the cylinder. Remove the high-pressure fuel pipe unions where necessary, clean the union nuts and then, pull out the pipe while sealing the open unions. Remove the wiring connector from fuel pressure sensor and the four fuel injector connectors and then unplug the wiring harness from the fuel rail. Unscrew the retaining bolts and, starting at the inlet port, gently disengage the fuel rail and injectors from cylinder head while shielding the injector pockets against dirt. Remove the retaining clip from each injector and take out the parts then returned the sealing rings, new seals and used components. Refitting involves pulling off the steps mentioned above in reverse and precaution is taken to ensure that new O-rings and Teflon seals are fitted to the engine parts and O-rings coated with engine oil and then fitted back into the engine while checking for fuel leakages when the engine is running. undefined 6 litre engines, the procedure is almost the same but some extra operations involving disconnecting the fuel pipe and wiring harness. Throttle potentiometer, mass airflow sensor, valve timing control solenoids, inlet air temperature sensor, camshaft position sensors, crankshaft position sensor, coolant temperature sensor, knock sensor, air conditioning pressure sensor, manifold pressure sensor and high pressure fuel pump all require particular attention when being removed and refitted which involves disconnecting wires and may also require the removal of bolts and use of new seals during the reassembly.
