To replace either sensor, disconnect the electrical connector from the speed sensor, remove the mounting bolt, and remove the sensor. Discard the old O-ring, apply transmission fluid to the new O-ring, and install it on the sensor. Finally, installation is the reverse of removal, with specific steps detailed for each sensor.

The output speed sensor on 2013 and later 4AT transaxles is located on the top of the transaxle. To replace it, you should disconnect the sensor electrical connector, raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands, work from the rear of the transaxle assembly, remove the sensor mounting bolt, and remove the speed sensor. Remember to discard the old O-ring and apply transmission fluid to the new O-ring during installation.
