    How do you remove and install the throttle valve switch on Nissan 300ZX? Posted by Customer

    Disconnect the electrical connectors from the Throttle Position Sensor. Remove the two bolts and lift the sensor from the throttle chamber. Note that loosening the bolts requires sensor readjustment. To install, reverse these steps but don't tighten the bolts. Ensure engine idle speed is within specs at normal temperature. Disconnect the sensor electrical connector and connect an ohmmeter to the top terminals. Rotate the sensor counterclockwise until no continuity is shown. Rotate it clockwise until continuity is established, then tighten the bolts. Replace the electrical connector.
