Before the removal of the control arm, the procedure follows the removing of the wheel lug nuts, lifting the car to a proper height and putting some jack stands on the front of the vehicle then removing the wheel. Secondly, remove the pin on the balljoint using the nut and bolt on the pinch of the strap. Also, a control arm must run straight; if it is crooked, then it should ideally be changed and not bent back into shape. Last but not the lease, place the wheel back and the lug nuts tighten as required and lower the vehicle.
