The engine mounts are located on the passenger and driver's side, attached to the engine block and each frame rail.

Support the transmission with a floor jack, using a block of wood on the jack head for cushioning. Remove the fasteners that attach the mount to both the crossmember and the transmission, ensuring the weight of the transmission is supported on the jack.

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. 2. Set the parking brake and block the rear wheels. 3. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. 4. Remove the splash shields from underneath. 5. With the engine supported from above, raise it just enough to relieve the weight on the mounts. 6. Remove the engine mount insulator bolt and the engine mount bracket bolts from below. 7. In the engine compartment, remove the two upper engine mount insulator-to-frame bolts, noting that removing the air filter housing can facilitate access to the left side bolts.

First, raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. For Armada models with a rear auto-leveling suspension, ensure that the ignition key is turned to the OFF position before lifting.
