A:
1. Slide the new outer boot and small clamp onto the drive axle, wrapping the splines with tape. 2. Install the inner race retainer ring. 3. Pack the CV joint with grease through the splined hole in the inner race. 4. Tap the outer CV joint into place with a hammer and wood block. 5. Slide the boot into position, add the remainder of the grease, and adjust the length. 6. Equalize the pressure inside the boot and install the new clamps. 7. Install the drive axle (see Section 11).
