Nissan Rogue Headlight Bulb Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: Can halogen bulbs be replaced without removing the headlight housing on Nissan Rogue?
A: Halogen bulbs can be replaced without removing the Headlight housing. First, ensure the Headlight Switch is off and disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery. For 2013 and earlier models and 2014 Rogue Select models, remove the air intake duct to access the left-side headlight bulbs. Disconnect the electrical connector from the headlight bulb holder, then twist the bulb counterclockwise to remove it from the housing. Avoid touching the bulb surface with your fingers, as the oil can cause overheating and premature failure; if touched, clean it with rubbing alcohol. Installation follows the reverse order of removal. For 2014 and later models, except Rogue Select, a LED headlight system is available where the low beam, high beam, and side marker lights are integrated and not separately replaceable; if one fails, the entire headlight housing assembly must be replaced.
