  Q: Does Nissan Sentra have cabin air filters, and how do you access and install them?

  A: Not all models have cabin air filters, which are located under the center of the instrument panel, to the right of the accelerator pedal. To access the cabin air filter, first remove the left instrument panel lower cover by carefully prying off this trim panel. Next, take off the cover from the side of the HVAC housing by unclipping the bottom of the filter cover, swinging it out, and unhooking the top. Then, pull the cabin air filter out of the housing. For installation, reverse the removal process, ensuring that the arrow on the filter is pointing UP when installed.
